Valorant Patch 10.10, released on May 27, 2025, brings several updates aimed at enhancing gameplay clarity and unifying the experience across PC and console platforms. Here's a breakdown of the key changes

Agent Updates

Raze

  • Explosion VFX Update: Raze's Boom Bot and Paint Shells now have updated explosion visual effects (VFX) that more accurately indicate their hitboxes. Additionally, these effects will persist in the game world for a shorter duration, improving gameplay clarity.

Tejo

  • Swiftplay Ultimate Adjustment: In the Swiftplay mode, Tejo's ultimate ability, Armageddon, will now start at 3 points instead of 2. This change, which was already live in Patch 10.09 but previously undocumented, aims to balance the gameplay in shorter match formats.

Client and UI Enhancements

Riot Games is working towards unifying the player interfaces for PC and console versions of Valorant:

  • Console Changes:

    • Removed the separate page for navigating specific content types.

    • All content types, including Player Cards and Sprays/Flex, are now accessible directly from the Collection page, aligning with the PC layout.

    • Improved gamepad navigation within the Collection page.

  • PC Changes:

    • Removed Level and Chroma indicators from weapon tiles.

    • Implemented minor layout updates for a cleaner interface.

Competitive and Mode Updates

  • Ranked Rollback Adjustments: For players below the Radiant rank, the cap on refunded Ranked Rating (RR) within an Act has been increased, providing better compensation in cases of unfair matches.

  • Icebox Map Status: The Icebox map remains disabled in Deathmatch and Escalation modes due to ongoing spawn-related issues identified in Patch 10.09.

Esports and Community Engagement

  • Masters Toronto Pick’Em: Players can now participate in the Pick’Em event for the upcoming Valorant Masters Toronto tournament, starting May 28, 2025. Participants can earn exclusive in-game titles and additional rewards based on their prediction accuracy.

Bug Fixes

  • Omen: Addressed an issue where dead allies spectating Omen could see through nearsights, such as Viper’s ultimate, when Omen used Dark Cover.

  • Vyse: Fixed a bug where Vyse’s Arc Rose ability would trigger a hit confirmation when affecting non-player entities.
